The Kansas City area got mostly drizzle, rain and some sleet during the day Tuesday. Most of the snow stayed north of the metro area until the evening. That’s when the big flakes began to fall and roads became treacherous. The high Wednesday could reach only 13 degrees. Wind chills could make it feel like zero to 5 degrees.

The Chiefs said today about 3,500 tickets still remain for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, and if they are not sold by noon Thursday, the telecast will be blacked out in the Kansas City area.
